About me

I'm a full stack engineer based in the Orlando area. I've spent 7+ years shipping web and mobile products, from WhatsApp Web at Meta to a React Native fishing app with 50k+ users.

Right now I work at Simform, where I lead development on Butterflies and Liftango. Most of my time goes into AI features: a shared service for OpenAI, Claude and Gemini, agents that call our own APIs, and MCP servers for internal tools. I care about the interface around the model just as much, because that's where people decide whether to trust it.

Full stack product work

Experience

Seven years across a product agency, Meta and a consumer startup.

  1. Mar 2024 – Present

    AI Full Stack Developer at Simform

    Software development company

    Lead developer on Butterflies (a social network with AI characters) and Liftango (on-demand shared transit), working across the stack.

    • Built a shared Node.js service for calling OpenAI, Claude and Gemini. Chat assistants, content generation and summaries all go through it, with responses streamed to the UI.
    • Built AI agents that use tool calling to hit our REST and GraphQL APIs, so a user can check a trip, change a booking or start a workflow from chat. Wrote MCP servers to give these agents access to internal tools.
    • Added Zod validation, provider fallback, caching and rate limits around every LLM call, and moved slow jobs onto BullMQ queues. LLM costs dropped about 30%.
    • Set up Stripe, Twilio, Firebase push and Auth0 across web and mobile. Deploys run through Docker and GitHub Actions to AWS and Vercel.
    • Got the team using Cursor, Claude Code and Copilot for scaffolding, tests and code review. We now ship features roughly 40% faster.
    • Also built two 3D configurators, ShedPRO and Nira, with Three.js and BabylonJS, plus a WebRTC/MQTT feed for live blockchain network data.
